Patrick Hogan ❤❤

Today it would have been Patrick's graduation...

​It was postponed until next year. 
 
I am kinda of feeling that's it's probably just as well due to this stormy day, I'd imagine Patrick blowing away with his cap and gown 🤣😅
 
Patrick completed his degree in college which took 5 years. 😯🥳
 
Patrick achieved the final year of this through a very impactful time 
 
It was very stressful and to work from home too, Patrick felt the pressure with his mental health, doing so much and not feeling he had the same level of interaction with work colleagues or other college students 
 
It meant so much to complete his studies where he actually did better than he thought. 🥰
 
Patrick earned an Honours Degree in Information Technology Management
 
Patrick never had the opportunity to do his leaving cert because the school he went to didn't have it as an option which was terrible... for someone else to question someones intelligence and capabilities is terrible
 
It has been such a very challenging two years for each individual, but for people to keep going during everything going on. It's incredible. 😍
 
From different stages along the way up until when he finally finished his exams...he was focused.
I did my best to surprise Patrick with surprise picnics with special lunch and homemade cake and sparkling non alcohol drinks and special  home dinners 
 
Patrick doesn't ask for much so the little things I can do for Patrick fills him up with pure joy, gratitude and love 😍
 
Patrick wanted to get his honours degree for a personal goal and he succeeded 👏
 
Patrick wanted also to get his dream job in IT...which he wanted since he was 16. 
 
Patrick has been applying for jobs and he kept applying and Patrick got word that he got shortlisted for a panel within the civil service. 
 
He's one step closer and I am so proud for Patrick's determination to better himself...and also our lives 
 
We both really needed this boost. 
 
As we would say on a regular basis to each other "Everything is working out for us" 
 
This is Patrick, he is my wonderful strong caring husband. Here is a picture of Patrick looking very proud after he completed a fantastic hike a few weeks ago. 
 
This man can literally do anything. 🥳😁 true story for sure
