Guest Speaker...

Yesterday I was invited to be a guest speaker for a disability event online, I spoke for this organisation before so I felt honored to be asked to come on again...

This was a paid talk too.
I logged in great seeing the people arriving and they were chatting amongst themselves,
Then everyone frozed bar me and I'm like any minute now, they come back.
It was from my end, I completely disconnected and it just wasn't working.
I had to reset the laptop and it took so long .
I was very anxious but at the same breath I felt calm that I wasn't given up. It's going to be alright.
Eventually I got back on and I didn't miss my opportunity.
I gave my talk but I was edge, hoping that the Internet would last and thankfully it did.
I received great feedback and I felt very relieved and grateful to deliver my talk as a guest speaker.
Doing virtually work has it's advantages but also comes with it's heart in your throat situations right? the joys
